An Innovative player in the hospitality industry and the company’s new luxury suites located in a serene area of Victoria Island business district is about to commence operations. The company requires urgently self motivated and results oriented personnel to fill the below vacant position:


ACCOUNTANT


JOB DETAILS
The successful candidate will report to the Hotel Manager and will be responsible for managing the accounting function of the hotel.

He will ensure prompt and accurate recording and reporting of all transactions in the hotel in line with financial regulations.


QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES

A good Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Accounting.

Membership of ICAN or any other recognized professional accounting qualification will be an advantage.

Not less three years post qualification experience in a structured commercial organization.

Hospitality industry experience will be a distinct advantage.

Good hands on experience of any accounting package Peach Tree. Sage, Tally etc or in the least Excelapplication.

Proficiency in the management of accounting controls in a hotel environment.

Must be a team player.


DUTY SUPERVISOR


JOB DETAILS

The Duty Supervisors will report to the Hotel Manager and will assist him ensure smooth operations of the hotel and good customers service during their shift.


QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES

A good Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Hotel Management, Business Administration or any of the social sciences.

A professional qualification in hotel management will be a major advantage.

A minimum of three years cognate experience in at least a three star hotel and good track record of achievement in previous employments.

Must demonstrate good knowledge of the operations of the restaurant, housekeeping facilities management and bar operations

Good leadership, communications and interpersonal skills. Good level of IT literacy; must be proficient in the use of word application.

Must be a team player.


HOTEL MANAGER


JOB DESCRIPTION

The Manager will take full responsibility for the profitable operations of the hotel and will report to the Chairman/CEO.


QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES

A good Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Hotel Management, Business Administration or any of the social sciences, A professional qualification in hotel management will be a major advantage.

A minimum of five years’ cognate experience in at least a three star hotel and demonstrable knowledge of control systems in a hotel environment.

Track record of achievement in previous hotel management positions.

Good marketing and selling skills required to establish a beachhead in the highly competitive hospitality industry in Victoria Island.

Good leadership, communications and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in the usage of Word. Power Point and Excel applications
