Technical Category Manager



 



Job Description


  • The purpose of this job is to coordinate the technical activities and provide superior technical support.

  • This job develops new flavoring systems and/or select existing flavors for suitability in specific applications as well as manage project briefs to a satisfactory conclusion within defined parameters.

  • Manages active projects as the designated Action Leader;

  • Recommends existing flavors/fragrance or create new flavor blends in response to appropriate customer requests, including application work;

  • Gives product presentations to customers, in conjunction with Marketing and Commercial Representatives;

  • Liaises with customers’ technical teams to clarify project briefs and determine product requirements;

  • Understands and operates the flavors/fragrance database;

  • Works as required at customers’ premises or other company sites


Requirements


  • Post graduate Degree in Food Science/Technology or equivalent

  • 5+ years of relevant experience.

  • Extensive product development experience (including product evaluation, benchmark analysis & matching, process development, up-scaling & factory integration);

  • Significant experience in working in a food service environment and development of products for food service customers.

  • Technical / professional knowledge & skills


Marketing Manager



 



Job Description
The Marketing Manager Bring added value to the business, support global/regional growth strategies and contribute to differentiate the company:


  • Translating relevant marketing & consumer insights into inspiring and relevant flavor/fragrance solutions supporting client’s product developments (both proactively and on client request).

  • Developing marketing tools at local or category level to promote the company flavor/fragrances solutions and develop the market.


Lead marketing support to some identified customers for the category/market:


  • Support client’s product developments by providing marketing intelligence to select the most relevant flavors/fragrances solutions.

  • Ensure the right marketing support to maximize the company’s chances to win/defend business.

  • Manage proactive and reactive projects with excellence, working closely with technical teams to ensure relevant, business oriented product developments.

  • Position the company as the supplier to count on for competitive added value market knowledge, brand understanding, inspiration and winning flavor/fragrance solutions.


Business Development:


  • Continuously develop and maintain category/market expertise (macro trends, consumer drivers, category & market dynamics, flavors/fragrances, technologies,…). Consolidate this knowledge into relevant tools that can be shared internally and with clients.

  • Deploy global & regional strategies at category/market level; identify with commercial teams future opportunities to develop the business and action plans to go after them.

  • Ensure the right portfolio of flavor/fragrance solutions for the category/market and promote it accordingly. Fill the gaps when needed with technical teams.

  • Proactively develop the right promotion tools with the proper push to sales. Monitor usages and get learning for future improvements.


Accounting Manager



 



Job Description


  • The Accounting Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.

  • The Accounting Manager supervises a staff of accountants and is responsible for managing the team to ensure that work is properly allocated and completed in a timely and accurate manner.


Requirements


  • Must posses a post graduate Degree in Accountancy, Finance or very relevant field.

  • Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA or CIMA.

  • 5 years’ of relevant working experience.

  • Hands-on knowledge of SAP

  • Good working knowledge in MS Office

  • Excellent organization skills with ability to take initiatives and manage priorities and deadlines

Logistics Excellence Manager



 



Job Description


  • The purpose of this job is to support the local management through projects and initiatives, related to internal and/or external logistics activities, aiming at improving customer satisfaction, reducing our costs and deploying best practices

  • The position encompasses various topics and requires to manage partially or totally initiatives and projects until their effective and successful implementation.


In particular, projects and initiatives related to :


  • Reviewing and improving the distribution of our products to our customers;

  • Improving the efficiency of internal and external warehousing activities;

  • Developing logistics reports, records and KPI’s and ensuring their effective implementation;

  • Developing Continuous Improvement initiatives and ensuring their effective implementation;

  • Planning and developing warehouse safety and security programs and activities and coaching personnel in the implementation of these;

  • Reviewing escalation of issues from customers’ or shippers’ and reviews complaints regarding storage and distribution services;

  • Influencing and coaching staff, and supporting the management in the successful implementation of the above tasks;

  • Preparing business cases with the support of controlling;

  • Managing together with Indirect Purchasing RFI (Request for Information) and RFQ (Request for Quotation) with external third-party logistics companies, in line with the Global Logistics Strategy.


Requirements


  • Post Graduate Degree in relevant field.

  • 5+ years hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong background in Inventory, MRP, Materials Management, ERP/APS System.

  • Must be proficient in all modes of transportation – domestic and international.

  • Relevant Professional Organizational qualification and membership.


Food Technologist



 



Job Summary


  • We are searching for an experienced Food Technologist to carry out various food applications to highlight the performance of the company’s flavors solutions.


The Specific Responsibilities shall include the following:


  • Develop, modify basic foods/beverages formulations

  • Select and evaluate the right flavor solution in compliance with legal, costs, clients & applications requirements

  • Understand the commercial needs of the brief, the value and price criteria

  • Participate to client’s presentations

  • Work in a close collaboration with account managers, category teams (flavorist and marketing), other departments

  • Manage various administrative internal systems/tasks related to projects briefs and keep daily record on laboratory work and results

  • Run stability tests and check flavor solubility according to established protocol

  • Realize analysis (ex. Brix, ph) with laboratory equipment’s

  • Respect good laboratory practices following established HSE rules


Qualifications


  • Bachelor degree in Food Science/Technology

  • MBA would be an added advantage

  • Food or chemical background

  • Work experience in a food or chemical laboratory;

  • Pro-active, autonomous and able to take initiatives;

  • Capable of handling multiple projects in a methodical manner, within short deadlines;

  • Accurate, rigorous and well organized

  • Good communicator with a team spirit and service orientated mind-set;

  • Fluent in English

  • Computer literate (MS Office);


Senior Account Manager



 



Job Description
The specific responsibilities shall include the following:


  • Negotiate with client favorable commercial terms (e.g. payment terms, prices and price conditions, order pattern etc) and price increase based on the division/team pricing objectives and strategy

  • Monitor client satisfaction and initiate corrective action where needed

  • Maximize business vitality

  • Get clear and complete briefing from clients, translate their needs into company projects and brief creation and development teams

  • Anticipate clients’ needs and lead proactive projects to generate new business opportunities

  • Define accurate pricing and margin parameters for each project, according to guidelines, and enter properly all project information in Project master/I-cam according to project management rules (incl. regulatory) (including project models rules in PE)

  • Lead/coordinate projects with internal partners and with clients (including fragrance/flavor/ingredient submissions)

  • Share visit reports, client information and feed-backs, and when needed conduct post-mortem analysis

  • Oversees entire value chain: product life cycle management, demand planning, customer care and supply chain to ensure highest customer satisfaction and maximum value extraction

  • Build the account sales budget annually, monitor sales and profitability versus objectives

  • Monitor and optimize all other financial aspects of the account, in particular expenses (incl. market research) vs. budget and clients over dues vs obj.

  • Make sure all commercial data and documentation are accurate and properly maintained

  • Manage sales assistant/sales support/project manager (if direct report)


Qualification


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or equivalent (Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Science…)

  • 5+ years of flavor or fragrance sales experience.

  • Good business understanding of both the company and client business, sales role and objectives

  • Ability to develop solid account plans and contribute to category plans

  • Ability to develop successfully client relationship and to position the company as a key business partner

  • Display high level of cultural sensitivity in dealing with international customers

  • Advanced Sales and Negotiation skills

  • Extended product expertise (product, market, consumer, technical/technology) and passion for fragrance/flavors/Ingredients

  • Ability to prepare and deliver presentations to clients and to demonstrate superiority

  • Ability to define, prioritize and implement action plans according to business opportunities and success factors

  • Good team player, seen as a strong partner by the development teams involved in clients’ projects

  • Leadership (mainly with non hierarchical partners) and decision making

  • Extended knowledge of the company’s tools and working policies & guidelines

  • Strong business

  • Supply Chain understanding (product life cycle, demand planning, order pattern…)
