Inflight Unit Manager



 



Newrest is looking for an Inflight Unit Manager for its activities in Nigeria
Mission
Manage our inflight units in Nigeria  on operational, financial, commercial, QHSE, purchasing, logistics and HR aspects

Tasks




  • Warrant compliance with contractual commitments between Newrest and its customers

  • Ensure sustainability of economic balances and ratios with a focus on food and labor cost as per the group’s standards

  • Being a guarantor of the implementation of HACCP procedures and standards, both on food and handling

  • Ensure the best operational management of the Inflight Unit and supervise procurement, production and handling

  • Supervise recruitments of operational profiles while respecting budget prepared by the General Management

  • Manage, train and support your team in order to develop internal skill and detect talents

  • Ensure a good social climate, enforce and implement agreements

  • Develop and reinforce, in accordance with the General Manager, commercial relationship with current and new customers in order to develop Newrest activity


Profile Required


  • Master Degree in International Management

  • An operational profile with 5 years experience minimum in Inflight catering is mandatory

  • Proven skills in : Finance, QHSE and HR

  • Charisma and leadership in front of local teams

  • Hands on personality

  • English fluent

  • Excellent computers skills (Office Suite)

QHSE Manager



 



Mission
Provide support to Newrest’s operations and to ensure that all legislative issues concerning: Health, Safety, Welfare at Work, Quality, Food Safety and Management of environment are integrated into the operational practices of the company by the implementation of effective management systems to support effective risk management and controlling continuous improvement of QHSE performance.

Key Tasks




  • Ensure that all employees comply with Safety, Quality, Food Safety and Environment requirements as specified in the global QHSE Management System. These requirements must be implemented and maintained in all existing and new sites.

  • Review all internal and external audit reports to ensure that the rules of the company and customers are properly and efficiently implemented.


Daily Tasks


  • Check compliance with the requirements of HACCP, QMS and HSE norms and systems, update all material information and ensure that all updates are effectively communicated to all operational divisions.

  • Plan Quality, HACCP and HSE audits

  • Provide monthly reporting of results achieved against key QHSE indicators and evaluate the achievement of objectives.

  • Develop a training plan and update training materials for internal training on food hygiene, for Health and Safety induction, for HACCP, Quality and Environment compliance.

  • Collect on a monthly basis data on sickness leaves, measure accidents rates

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of criteria for suppliers selection and audit

  • Manage quality complaints

  • Lead investigations in case of food poisoning or other illness / injury of staff


Requirements


  • Between 5 and 10 years of experience in EHS management, an experience in catering is mandatory

  • A previous experience on Inflight Catering is appreciated

  • English fluent

Commercial Manager



 



We are looking for a Commercial Manager for our Inflight activity in Nigeria.
Under The Supervision Of The General Manager You Will Be In Charge Of The Following Tasks


  • Initiate and follow public relations actions with potential, new, as well as established clients.

  • Implement commercial agreement signed with our client and ensure that products delivered comply with those agreements

  • Ensure and centralize a fluid communication between the client and the operations department.

  • Provide necessary information and documents to the operations department in order to warrant a perfect service to the client

  • Inform the client about problems faced and solutions implemented to solve them

  • Anticipate, prepare and manage clients’ visits and audits, perform written reporting to the Country General Manager

  • Check inventories of clients’ equipment

  • Follow appropriate recording / reporting procedures related to commercial activities.

  • Understand relevant political and legislative issues to establish / facilitate new business activity / renewal of contracts.

  • Use performance management techniques to monitor and demonstrate achievement of agreed service levels and to lead on improvement.


Profile Required


  • At least 5 years of experience in Inflight catering

  • Master Degree in International Business

  • Strong public relations skills supported by excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.

  • English fluent, French is a plus

  • Excellent computers skills

  • Dynamic, extroverted, results oriented

Purchasing Manager



 



We are looking for a Purchasing Manager for our Inflight activity in Nigeria.
Tasks


  • Manage all purchasing functions including Purchase Order Processing, delivery arrangements, record maintenance and reports.

  • Assisting the Supply Chain department in data entry, maintaining and entering purchase order,

  • Maintaining and compiling purchase reports and working with accounts payable regarding supplier and vendor invoices.

  • Responsible for cost variance and price reporting, special purchasing projects and analysis,

  • processing and expediting order a needed and replenishing standard stock items.

  • Analyse, identify and communicate information regarding purchase order.

  • Identify, investigate and resolve purchase related issues.

  • Assist Supply Chain Manager with gathering price information for quotations.

  • Maintain effective stock control, rotations and levels and cost saving.


Profile Required


  • Motivated and high stress tolerances

  • HACCP awareness and training.

  • Supply management qualifications

  • 3 years experience minimum in a similar function in Purchasing in retail or catering.

  • Master degree in Purchasing and Logistic

  • English fluent, French is a plus

  • Excellent computers skills (Office Suite)
