We need a leader to head a large sales and distribution network for one of our clients who has large operations in Africa. Both areas of operational excellence and strategic brilliance are necessary for this role as you would sit on the leadership team and would be accountable for the major chunk of the business volumes.
Areas that you need to have an enviable track record are direct distribution,effective management of a large van sales operation, managing trade contracts with some of the larger players, sales forecasting and planning Since the business is on an aggressive growth mode you need to come armed with the relevant experience to hit the ground running.
You would be required to devise and implement strategies to enhance sales and distribution, aggressively build the capabilities within the present team, create win win solutions with the bigger dealers in the wholesale trade.
Qualification
Bachelors Degree, Business Administration
Experience: 12 To 15 years in a quality FMCG with experience in direct distribution and traditional trade
Positions open to candidates based in India / Pakistan .
Skills
Financial Acumen and Numerical ability should be very strong.
Excellent Sales Skills with a Demonstrated track record of Sales achievements.
Good customer relationships.
Aggressively competitive and achievement oriented.
A demonstrated commitment towards building relations and managing strong subordinates.
An ability to motivate, mentor and monitor the sales team.
