Job Description
Support the Decision Support Manager to ensure agreed targets and financial benefits are optimised, costs are managed within agreed envelopes and guidance is provided to the Technical Department on finance issues
Support the improvement of the Network Finance processes
Liaise, support and assist the technical business area on all aspects of financial and operational matters
Provide support for monitoring and controlling the financial performance of the technical business area via monthly reporting and budgeting/forecasting processes to provide insight into business performance
Support the preparation of techno-economics and accounting analysis/reports as required by the business including:

NETWORK ENGINEER


SUMMARY

Network Engineer is responsible for designing, organizing, modifying, installing, and supporting the company’s Information Technology Network subsystemincludingbutnot limited to LANs, WANs, ISP, intranet systems, and network segments.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Install and support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems. Design and implementation of new network solutions and improving resilience of the current environment.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

– Minimum of a B.Sc degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

– Minimum of 6 years work experience in a similar role in facilities management

– Understanding of services systems and active site operations for service requirements for Oil & Gas Subsea equipment

– Team management experience in fast-paced environment

– A valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate will be required.

– Must have valid authorization to work full-time without any restriction in Nigeria

The EPC Systems Engineer has technical responsibility for the delivery of a single product line (subsea Manifolds & Connection Systems), during the Execution Phase of an Engineering/ Procurement/ Construction (EPC) Subsea Project. Reporting directly to the Lead Systems Engineer, this is a senior level role working in a high profile function of GE Oil & Gas.


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Engineering and Technical responsibility for delivery of subsea Manifolds & Connection Systems an EPC Project as follows:

– Creation and control of the System Master Equipment List and Master Document Register

– Delivery of the System Field Layouts and Distribution schematics

– Delivery of the System Design Basis and Functional Design Specifications

– Material selection and Corrosion protection Philosophy

– Internal and External Interfaces

– Design Verification Program

– Technical Change control process

– Technical Assurance program

– Flow Assurance, Hydrate Management and Thermal Design

– 3rd party certification and regulatory compliance programs

– Intervention, Inspection, maintenance and repair strategy

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:   


– Proven experience across at least 2 of the following: (Item 2 is compulsory)

2) Technical expertise, at ‘expert’ level, in Manifolds & Connection Systems

3) Practical knowledge of at least 3 aspects of the Subsea Systems Engineering Lifecycle:

o NPI, Tender development, Project Engineering, SIT, commissioning, and operations

4) Domain expertise across at least 2 of the following (one at ‘expert’ level):

o Hydro-mechanical, Electrical & power, Software/Electronic, Marine/Structural


– Masters or Bachelor degree in Engineering or science based discipline

– Chartered Engineer or PE certification is preferred
